President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Olamide Obagbemileke, a 400-level student in the Department of Economics of the Kwara State University (KWASU), to the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms as a research assistant and analyst.
Obagbemileke is the second undergraduate appointed to the presidential committee since its inauguration. She will work with the committee for three months and serve as the committee’s student ambassador.
according to the X handle of the kwara state university:
“A 400 level student of the Department of Economics, Kwara State University, Miss Olamide Obagbemileke, has been selected to join the secretariat of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms as Research Assistant and Analyst.
“Miss Obagbemileke was notified of this selection in a letter signed by the Policy and Research Analyst and Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, Bomate Ogaree-Lawson.
The letter reads in part that “I have no doubt that your enthusiasm, dedication, and fresh perspectives will greatly benefit our Committee and help us achieve our goals.
“We look forward to working with you and witnessing the positive impact you will undoubtedly make”.
